　Diopside is low temperature fast-burning ceramic raw materials developed during the past ten years. Our factory possesses the biggest Changle Diopside ore with best quality and annual output of 500,000 tons. The ore body is great in scale, steady in quality. the natural white degree of ore is 82°; hardness is 5.5-6.0; proportion is 3.27-3.38g/m3, melting temperature is 1391 ℃. 　 　Characteristics (compared with not adding diopside):
1. Diopside has higher alkaline-earth metal oxides, Such as: Introducing CaO, MgO make pottery form low collective melting body whose main component is CaO-MgO-Al2O3-SiO2. It can lower the burning temperature make the absorbing water rate of the products drop.
2. The diopside has no multi-crystalloid changing, has no volume effect brought with multi-crystalloid changing, thus the coefficient of expansion is small, heat-gap curve is almost a straight line, which indicates that there was not exothermic reaction and heat absorption reaction under 1000℃, and there is not phase change.
3. The diopside has no volatility (such as organic matter, the water of crystallization) by itself, has no resolving CO2 either, therefore the burning vector is very low, which can make the ceramic base body's temperature grows fast.
4. Putting diopside into base body can help the stone forms extremely high content, thus enable resisting crooked degree strongly. Low glaze that contain diopside can combine closely with base body. In sum, ceramic base body that contain diopside as raw materials can be burned under low temperature fast, which shorten burning cycle greatly, thus economize the cost greatly.
